As we approach the end of the year, holiday parties and casual get-togethers start popping up on the calendar. A client told me just this week that she needs something new for an upcoming dinner—and I get it. One of our biggest challenges is rushing to the mall at the last minute to buy something specific for an event.
My advice? Planning is everything. Building a curated wardrobe with quality pieces that fit well and reflect your style means you’ll always have something great to wear. Sounds dreamy? I guarantee it’s possible!
Back to my client - she agreed that last-minute shopping hasn’t always worked in her favor, so we scheduled a Styling Hour to review options. Because her wardrobe is uploaded to a private platform we both access, she can keep track of new purchases and build intentional looks.
I encourage you to do the same with your wardrobe. Shopping with intention and building a collection you love will make getting dressed a joy. And the more you wear your clothes, the happier you’ll feel with each piece.
Fall is here, and it’s the perfect time to bring out the boots!
Here are some of my top picks in tall boots and booties. You’ll find a variety of colors to suit your style. Enjoy browsing!
The Shopping Guide is a curated list of items trending each season at different price points. Feel free to check my previous selections here.
A PRODUCT WITH MY NAME ON IT New Neutrals for Color Analysis
After 16 years of color analysis, I wanted to make it even easier for clients to see the unique impact of neutrals on their look. Inspired during a recent beach walk, I suggested to Studio Immagine in Brazil the creation of neutral fabric swatches, like warm and cool beiges, browns, grays, navys, black, and white.
Now it’s ready, and it has my name on it!
Since getting the sample last month, I’ve tested it on over 25 clients, who now clearly see why some neutrals suit them best.
If you thought you didn’t need a color analysis because you only wear neutrals, think again! Not all grays or browns are the same. Discovering your best neutrals can make a huge difference—even if you stick to classic shades.
A BRAND FOR YOU TO KNOW: MODERN CITIZEN Modern Citizen is a brand I've followed for years. Starting as a small pop-up store in NYC, it now has a permanent location and offers versatile, comfortable dresses and shirts that can be dressed up or down at a friendly price point. Check them out!
Let's chat if you want a more intentional approach to your style! Book a Virtual Styling Hour, where I’ll help you refine your wardrobe, plan fresh looks, and suggest items for your shopping list to build a curated closet.
Have a great November!
