EMBRACING THE HOLIDAY SEASON WITH STYLE AND INTENTION
Marcia Crivorot

Holiday season is here—a joyful time for many and, let’s be honest, a little stressful for some. Lately, I’ve been reflecting on the idea of wintering: embracing the beauty of the season, reflecting on the past year, celebrating our achievements (so important!)—and showing ourselves grace for the things that didn’t go as planned.

One of my favorite ways to reflect is through journaling—a deep conversation with myself. And it got me thinking about my work as a stylist.

How about taking a moment this season to rethink your relationship with your wardrobe?

  • Are you truly happy with what your clothes are doing for you?
  • Have you taken steps toward building an intentional wardrobe?

Remember how special shopping used to feel years ago? When every piece was chosen carefully and made to last?

Now, as you read this, Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales will still be everywhere, followed by end-of-year clearance events. Don’t get me wrong—I love fashion, design, and seeing how people express themselves through what they wear. But let’s not forget: our personal style—our true selves—are what matter most. When we know who we are, we can build the wardrobe of our dreams, one that truly reflects us.

Cheers to this season and the thoughtful conversations we have with ourselves about style and life!
