CAN YOU BELIEVE IT IS ALREADY MARCH?

This email is arriving a little late. I am only human after all…  

But as I write this newsletter, I'm feeling hopeful with the latest news: the vaccination program is starting to accelerate, the infection rate is decreasing here, and theaters will finally reopen their doors in NYC.

I really expect that we'll be able to relax a bit in the next few months and enjoy the warmer seasons. Plus, I'm getting more emails from prospective and new clients who are planning a Spring Wardrobe Edit. They feel the need to update their wardrobe and maybe do some shopping to cheer them up.

MC: Many people say they started to practice Yoga and meditation during the pandemic looking for stress relief. What are the real benefits of it?

Marisol: Stress and anxiety reduction, mental focus, greater emotional control, and a more positive response to the unexpected events of our everyday life.
 

MC: What is your advice for those that have never practiced Yoga but want to start and don't know how.

Marisol: Find a teacher and test which Yoga method best suits your needs. There are many methods with different emphases. Eventually, one will be ideal for you.

MC: If someone can't afford or doesn't have the time to start meditation or yoga classes now, what would you advise them?

Marisol: Take 10 slow, deep breaths twice a day. Your body will experience immediate relief and your brain will make better connections, reducing mental agitation.
