Wardrobe organization: how to use hangers properly to conserve your clothes
Time to confess: is your bedroom organized or messy?
In my opinion, there's nothing like a neat and clean wardrobe. That's why I wanted to share a few important thoughts with you today about organization.
The first is something that I totally believe in: the way we organize our closet can either make us calm or increase our stress level.
The second is that if you can see your clothes and accessories well, you will be able to wear them easily. In fact, you will most likely use everything you own!
If you're looking to arrange your belongings more efficiently, here is another issue that you might not have thought about yet, but that can make a huge difference:
What kind of hangers do you use in your wardrobe?
It may sound crazy, but hangers are decisive to conserve special pieces and make our lives more convenient. Here are some precious tips:
It's vital to have similar hangers. This is because clothes will be at the same eye level so that you can see e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g.
Hangers standardization brings virtual comfort and harmony.
Don't know which type to buy? I recommend getting thin velvet hangers. They really save space and are non-slippery.
This following tip I learned from @genniorganizer, a dear friend who is a personal organizer. She told me once to use kids' hangers to store pants - it fits perfectly!
Don’t keep dry cleaner’s hangers (or plastic covers). They are made just for transportation, therefore they can damage your products if used for a long time.
For heavier clothing items, such as jackets or winter coats, go for thick hangers.
Do you have a favorite hanger? Share your ideas with me, too. I love to read your comments!
