WELCOME, FALL!

Fall is here and it's my favorite time in New York.
Not to say it's the best season to get dressed: we can wear a third piece (such as a jacket, a vest, or a blazer) and accessories like a scarf, but we still don't need a heavy coat.
In my opinion, it's the perfect moment to be creative and try new outfits.
Seriously, isn't Fall amazing?

Here are some posts I wrote to prepare your wardrobe for Fall:

1. First, if you want to have your white clothes looking beautiful for a winter getaway (a girl can dream!) or even for next Summer, read this before you go ahead and store them.

2. How can we have a more sustainable wardrobe? Start with what you already own! For more information, click here:

3. Is it possible to dress sexy without showing too much skin? This one is for my clients over 40 (or 50, 60, etc.):

4. If it's Spice Pumpkin Latte season, then it's time to think about where you should invest your money for your Fall wardrobe:

5. Trench coats for Fall: Why not?

SMALL TALK WITH LISA KLEIN, A WELLNESS ACCOUNTABILITY COACH

I know many of you are going back to the office after so many months of WFH. So now you'll probably have less time for meal prepping, right? That's why I decided to talk to Lisa Kleint. She helps you adopt simple and sustainable health habits to feel your best without sacrificing food or drinks.

MC: Lisa, what are your suggestions to optimize our time while preparing meals?

LK: My biggest hack for meal prep is: when you get home from the grocery store, before you put anything away, wash and cut/slice all your fruits and veggies. Think about what you will need for the week: snacks to grab and go, chopped veggies for salads, and veggies for cooking. You don't need fancy containers!

MC: We all have days when we arrive late at home and are hungry. What do you recommend we buy at the supermarket to avoid eating junk food for dinner?

LK: Cooking shortcuts saves our time and sanity! I recommend you to buy some pre-cut veggies, rotisserie chicken that you can use for salads, wraps, or any recipe that calls for pre-cooked chicken (Costco is my favorite), microwavable brown rice, and quinoa (Seeds of Change is my favorite brand!), bagged salad (tip: have a paper towel into the container to keep it fresh), Jar Marinara sauce (choose one with tomatoes as a #1 ingredient and the least quantity of sugar possible, egg white bites, and garlic in a jar.

MC: Can you give us a simple and delicious recipe that makes all the family happy?

A BRAND FOR YOU TO KNOW: LA LIGNE

A couple of years ago, three women from the fashion world started a brand based in NYC. The inspiration came from stripes - La Ligne is a French name that means "the line". Although they have sweaters, T-shirts, and dresses with stripes, their shop selection goes beyond a pattern. Check them out here: lalignenyc.com
