I hope you had a great start to the year!
For me, January was incredibly busy! Many women decided to keep a New Year's resolution to look after themselves. That's why it was the month I did the most color analysis since I started my career - more than 15 years ago! I also have clients doing the Style Overhaul and starting the Style Bliss.
I listed what my clientele says on repeat during a discovery call, the free 30-minute meeting that I offer to everyone who needs help with their wardrobe and image:
"I am working hybrid, and my office has a casual dress code. I want to look casual but put together. I don't know how."
"I keep buying items and ordering from subscription services, but I still don't have the right clothes."
"My body has changed since the pandemic started. Now I have to attend work events, and I'm confused about what fits me."
As I always say, our clothes and how we dress are not the most relevant part of our lives. However, it's a way of non-verbal communication with the world, and we can't miss this opportunity.

HOW ARE YOU PLANNING TO TRANSITION FROM WINTER TO SPRING?
A new season is coming as the stores are getting new collections. Before spending any money, shop your closet first.
The posts below will inspire you to start thinking about your Spring wardrobe.
I'm not telling you to follow any of these trends. It's just some information from the runway shows. When the Spring styles hit the stores, I will keep you updated:
The Costume Institute's second exhibition this year was supposed to happen in 2020 to celebrate 100 years of the Suffrage movement. From anonymous - dressmakers who never had their work recognized - to current times when it is still not that easy for a woman to be a head designer at a high-end brand.
Don't miss the opportunity to learn more from the history of women designers and to see 83 outfits by 70 designers from the beginning of the XX century until today.
My favorite dress is this one by Claire McCardell, created in 1945, that looks very current. If you don't know her name, she was probably the designer who introduced what we know as American Sportswear, outfits that could be worn for many occasions.
Are you planning to celebrate V-Day at a restaurant? Here are three suggestions you can enjoy.
Some of my friends love the first two places. The third one - Encore Bistro - is the kind of restaurant I would choose! It's cozy, not fancy, and has good food.
