One thing I love about my job is looking for brands that can make a difference for clients like you!
That’s why I want to talk about Amour Vert today. They opened a new shop in NYC and this got me excited for many reasons!
REASON #1: I’ve been following this brand for a long time and many of my clients LOVE it.
REASON #2: I was invited to the inauguration party. On the invitation they said that for every RSVP confirmation they would plant a tree.
REASON #3: their marketing & sustainability game is so strong! Can you believe they also plant a tree whenever they sell a product?!
So how could I say no to this opportunity?! Of course I put on my favorite cozy sustainable sweater and attended the event!
When we talk about sustainability nowadays, we mean endless possibilities and I believe many brands are doing as much as they can to improve the future.
FYI, Amour Vert means Green Love in French.
They're located in California and they say 97% of what they make is manufactured there. Having factories overseas might result in lower prices for the consumer, but they probably wouldn’t have the same control. Plus, transportation is an issue when we talk about keeping things sustainable, right?!
Other cool facts about Amour Vert:
Use of fabrics that have less impact in the environment, such as beechwood blend (an organic modal), organic cotton, and mulberry silk that is non-toxic;
They work with tencel and cupro, both produced after plants;
Their wool is organic, and they work with farms that really care about the treatment of the animals;
Partnerships with other brands with the same concept. Who doesn’t like some good old collaborations? They are a win-win for everyone!
With so many stores closing lately, we know that when a brand decides to open a shop in a city that the retail is crazy expensive it is because a good part of the online sales is done in the area. And of course, they think they can make a difference and be relevant.
LOCATION IS EVERYTHING!
I’m also ecstatic about their address: It’s in Prince St, just in front of Credo, close to Everlane and Cuyana, and a few blocks from Beautycounter. All of these companies go by the same theme: being clean! That’s got to be intentional!
I can’t wait to go back to Amour Vert store and explore the latest collection. Meet me there?
Best,
PS: Check out my new website. It’s so good, clear and functional - I’m in “amour“ with it. I bet you’ll be too!
