The colorful neutrals
Color has the most significant impact on what we wear—it's the first thing people notice.
By adding different colors to an outfit, you change its overall vibe. This allows you to create multiple looks and ideas from the same pieces.
For some, vibrant colors work, while others prefer "colorful neutrals" like navy, brown, or burgundy.
Technically, white, black, and gray are the only neutrals. But navy blue in fashion, for instance, is seen as neutral because it blends easily with other colors, even though it's still blue.
Let's look at the outfit below, with white, gray, and black. Adding a brown jacket and belt introduces a "colorful neutral" that transforms the outfit.
Knowing your color palette is helpful, but in my color analysis, I consider your preferences. I help you incorporate the colors you love, even if they aren't in your palette.
