How to wear a white outfit

I frequently hear questions from my clients about how to put together white outfits. So I decided to collect the four most asked questions and write this post.

1. Do I need to find the same shade of white so my shirt and white jeans match?

The answer is no. You don't need to wear the same shade of white. It looks interesting when they are a bit different. You can also play with the texture of the fabric, such as pairing linen with denim.

2. Can I wear light beige with white?

We call this a tonal outfit. You can mix any shade of beige with white, from off-white to camel. This duo is chic and timeless. I love it, and I wear it a lot.

3. What kind of shoes should I wear?

If you're wearing only white or white with any shade of beige, go with white/cream/camel shoes. I think brown sandals look very nice or even brown boots when it gets cold.

4. Can I wear a white dress or jumpsuit with black sandals?

Yes, you can wear black and white. But it's good to add one more piece in black to build a connection. It doesn't need to be shoes and a bag. It can be shoes and a belt, a clutch, and earrings. Or all of them.

A quick tip:

Black and beige make for a low contrast combination. They send a message of approachability. On the other hand, black and white are the opposite. They are a modern and powerful duo. One isn't better than the other. They are just distinct. The best part is that you can multiply your wardrobe by changing your accessories. Isn't it amazing?
