Women Dressing Women - a Costume Institute exhibition at the Met Museum

The Costume Institute's new exhibition celebrates the amazing creativity of women fashion designers from The Met Museum's permanent collection. They are designers from the 1900s until now, showcasing big names, fresh voices, and some hidden gems.

It's called "Women Dressing Women," showing seventy incredible women's designers. Names such as Jeanne Lanvin, Elsa Schiaparelli, and Madeleine Vionnet, and Americans like Claire McCardell, who is considered the creator of American Sportswear. Contemporary designers like Iris van Herpen, Rei Kawakubo, Simone Rocha, and Miuccia Prada are also featured.

If you like Fashion, this exhibition is a must-see. It's a deep dive into how fashion has evolved, and it is also important, considering that there is a discussion going on about why there are still so few women as head designers of big brands nowadays.
