Wardrobe Essentials: The Little Black Dress
Continuing the series about the essentials in my wardrobe, first I would like to remind you that I don't believe in a list that serves everyone.
This truly depends on many factors, such as your personal taste, where you live, or your lifestyle.
In fact, I happen to know one person that doesn't care about a black dress, she prefers to always wear colorful clothes instead. But I would say that, for most women, it's the piece that works for many occasions and it can be dressed up or down.
We all know that it's effortlessly chic. Also, since it's pretty much like a black canvas, you can add your favorite jewelry and make it your own!
If you want to buy a black dress that will last for years to come, look for a timeless style. Ideally not too short, not too long, and in a fabric that you could wear all year round.
The simpler, the better.
All you need is to change your shoes and your bag, and you're ready to go anywhere.
Then, if you'd like to add a second black dress to your wardrobe, you can try to go for a different design - for instance, a longer one.
Get inspired with some styles that are in the stores right now. And don't rush to find the perfect one, just keep browsing and I'm sure one day you will find it.
