Two Fall collaborations I am looking forward to seeing at the stores

I know that sometimes collaborations of talent designers with mass production stores disappoint us, but I can't wait to check these two collabs that will arrive at stores in the Fall:

  • Uniqlo: C - Clare Waight Keller, former designer of Chloé and Givenchy, created a collection for Uniqlo that will be launched on September 15th. The clothes are modern and feminine at the same time. Pleated skirts, dresses, and oversized jackets are perfect for layering.

  • Peter Do is a talented young designer who showed beautiful collections at NY Fashion Week. He will present his first collection as the new head designer of Helmut Lang this upcoming season and is partnering with Banana Republic. If you have been at a BR store lately, you know that they are upgrading their style. I expect to see classic modern pieces such as beautiful blazers and jackets. The launch of the collection is in October.

Are you excited about these partnerships? Start looking at your closet as soon as Labor Day weekend goes. What are you missing? What new silhouettes are you willing to try? What items in your wardrobe need to be replaced? Which colors are you looking to wear? Then, when these and other collections arrive at the store, you know exactly what you should buy.

As I always say here, shop your closet first! And if you need help with this task, I am here for you! Just send an email to hello@marciacrivorot.com. Let's schedule your free discovery call!
