The bittersweet end of the Summer
This Summer felt particularly joyful. We were able to travel again and relax more. But every year, when I know I am going to the beach for the last time, it feels like I miss it already.
Living in New York has taught me to cherish all seasons, but Summer is too short for someone born in Rio de Janeiro. I am sure you agree with me.
Good news, believe it or not, I think that Autumn is the best and most beautiful time here. It's also my favorite time to get dressed. We can add a third piece, have fun with color combinations, and we don't need to hide everything under a heavy coat. At least not yet.
That's why I call this time of the year bittersweet. It is a mix of feelings in the air.
Luckily, I will keep myself busy and focus on what's coming. Next week, I have 15 students from other states and countries for a course with me and a business partner from Brazil.
We ran NY Fashion Tour for ten consecutive editions, always during NY Fashion Week, but we stopped during the pandemic. We are resuming it now. We are extremely excited and grateful for this opportunity.
Don't you think the change of seasons helps us to move forward?
