Summer hair accessories
It looks like the heatwave is here to stay.
I never complain about Summer, but I know how difficult it is to look more put together this season. This brings me to another important subject: women's struggles with hair and humidity!
I often hear the following question:
"What hair accessories should I wear to avoid looking too young or unprofessional?"
My answer is simple: you need to consider the occasion and your office dress code.
PAYING ATTENTION TO DETAILS
In general, consider hair accessories as add-ons. For instance, the material of a hair band can make your outfit look classy or playful. Try leather, faux leather, or a not-shiny fabric for a smart and elegant effect. The same applies to hair bands with prints. I suggest choosing classic or more discrete patterns.
STYLING A CUTE SUMMER BUN
Now let's talk about hair ties, also known as scrunchies. They don't show up as much as a hair band but always think about color combination when creating your outfit. This way, it doesn't look like you picked up the first thing you found inside your bag to tie your hair.
WHY DON'T YOU TRY ADDING A HEAD SCARF?
Head scarves are a timeless and chic option. If you have long hair, scarves will look perfect in a ponytail. If you have short hair, wear it as a hair band. It's also an excellent option for people with curly hair - just like mine!
