Professional Wardrobe: How to dress for Zoom calls
This is the fourth post of a series about the professional wardrobe I was invited to write for BPA - Brazilian Professionals Abroad.
Important meetings and interviews via Zoom have become a norm, so get ready in advance to avoid problems.
You will be seen from your chest up, so this is the area you need to pay more attention to. However, things happen, and you might need to stand up, so no shorts or pajama bottoms.
I suggest you wear a shirt in a color that makes you feel confident (it does not need to be black!), and don’t show too much cleavage. Wearing a jacket always elevates the way you look.
When choosing jewelry, opt for short necklaces and avoid big earrings that will be moving and can be very distracting to the interviewer. The same goes for bracelets or rings that can be noisy during the call.

The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.
