NYFW Fall/Winter 2025-2026 Trends: Brooches
Fashion Week isn’t just about what designers showcase on the runway—it’s also about the stylish attendees who bring their own flair to the events.
This season, one accessory stood out both on the catwalk and in street style: brooches.
At Carolina Herrera and Tory Burch, we saw bold, statement brooches adding a sophisticated touch to the collections. But it wasn’t just on the runway—guests also embraced brooches as a unique way to accessorize their outfits.

Are Brooches Old-Fashioned? Not at All!
If you think brooches are an outdated accessory, it’s really just about how you style them. I’ve mentioned before how much I love brooches—I can’t resist looking for them in vintage stores, and I truly believe they add character and individuality to any outfit.
A Backstage Look at the Trend
This season, I had the pleasure of working backstage at Carolina Herrera with my students from the NY Fashion Tour. Seeing those statements brooches up close was incredible! I can’t wait to see if brands will incorporate them into their Fall collections—because if NYFW is any indication, brooches are definitely making a comeback.

Do You Own Any Brooches?
What about you—do you have brooches in your jewelry collection? I’d love to hear how you style them! Let me know in the comments.
P.S. The NY Fashion Tour is a course I co-lead with a business partner for Portuguese speakers during NY Fashion Week. It’s a full fashion experience, including trend analysis, exclusive visits, and even the opportunity to work backstage at fashion shows!
