NY Fashion Week Spring 2024 Trends

Here are the trends the designers presented at the NY Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2024.

Always remember that it is my job to check what's new to be able to help you update your wardrobe according to your style. That's what I do in my wardrobe as well!

Here are some of the trends:

1. Denim

The dress code, in general, is more casual, and we are seeing more creativity in denim: different washes and cuts. If denim is your thing, it's a perfect piece to invest in a new style.

2. Metallic

Don't wait for special occasions to wear them!

3. Handmade

For many seasons, we have seen an appreciation for handmade clothes and details such as crochet and macramé.

Ulla Johnson

4. Transparency

Fabrics like tulle or lace add femininity to the outfits.

Phillip Lim

Jason Wu

5. Peplum

Peplums are perfect to add some volume to the hip area if you wish.

Adeam

6. Corsets

Corsets are feminine and sexy, but it depends on the style and how you will wear them.

Who Decides War

7. Capri pants

I know that Capri pants are controversial. I personally don't love them, but I am very curious to see if women will be wearing them again. Handmade pieces bring an artisanal charm to your wardrobe.

8. Flowers

3D flowers are not new, but they are not going anywhere.

Christian Siriano

9. White suits

Blazers are here to stay, and different tones of white suits are seen on the runways.

10. Dropped shoulders

Shoulders can be a really good focal point of an outfit.

Tory Burch

11. DROP-waist dresses

It is a silhouette we haven't seen for a while.

Khaite

12. Bows

This is another trend we have seen for a while and will still be here.
