My Fall wardrobe wishlist
You can't build a curated wardrobe in one day. It requires time. As we add some pieces each season, we keep our closet updated, so we don't need to buy anything new for a specific occasion.
After studying my wardrobe and what the stores have this season, I created this Fall wishlist. I know that I will be wearing these pieces a lot. They also fit my lifestyle.
Last year, I wanted a new camel coat in a bit oversized cut. I planned to wear layers underneath it. After doing extensive research, I found one. That's why I don't need another coat this year. I think I have enough boots as well, so I don't plan to purchase new ones.
Here is my wishlist this year:
A denim skirt:
I plan to wear it all year round with sandals or boots.
A pair of loafers
I wanted to find transitional weather shoes because we can't wear sandals anymore, but we don't need boots yet. Loafers have a masculine style, unlike ballet flats. They change the entire outfit.
A short jacket
This item would be perfect for my petite frame. It serves as a layer when it gets colder, too.
An off-white cashmere sweater
I need to replace an old one. The color is perfect for my skin - it's neutral. I'm sure I will wear it a lot hence why quality matters.
Would I buy anything else?
These are my priorities. Besides, I save another list with products that can make a difference in my wardrobe. For the next few months, I will have enough time to wear what I have, evaluate my budget, and make up my mind. I usually give up most items, but others I decide to get. If they are pricey, I wait for promotions or the beginning of sales.
Why don't you start building a curated wardrobe for yourself? If you need my help, send me an email. We will have a great time working together!
