My 10 Summer wardrobe essentials

Summer is still here for a few weeks (at least in New York), so I wrote a post about the Summer essentials in my wardrobe.

Basically, it's what I am wearing now on repeat whether I'm working from home, seeing clients in person, going out for dinner, meeting friends, or even packing for a trip.

You can't go wrong with these items to have a great time in what's left of Summer. Check them out:

1- Shorts

I need to say I love to wear shorts to WFH on warm days. I don't invest a lot in shorts because I mostly wear them at home or during trips. However, I decided to purchase shorts this year because I wanted one pair of bermuda and high-waisted denim shorts. There are so many options in different lengths out there. I'm sure you will find one that you like.

2- Dresses

This is the easiest way of getting dressed in Summer, hands down. Especially now that we style dresses with sneakers!

3- Tank tops

These are the most versatile tops. They look good in shorts or pants. Plus, they make for a good layering piece.

4- Cotton tops

I absolutely love wearing cotton tops. They are perfect for warm days. There are many styles to choose from here.

5- Paperbag pants

Pleated paperbag pants are the perfect transition from working from home to going back to the office. It's comfortable, yet chic.

6- Denim jacket

If I'm traveling in the Summer, I always pack a simple, plain denim jacket. It goes with just everything!

7- Mules

I have worn mules a lot in the past seasons. I like their style, and they are a great match for dresses and pants.

8- Jewelry

Hot sunny days are the perfect time to wear necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. I prefer yellow gold metal because it's better for my complexion, especially when I have a tan.

9- Headscarves and hairpins

These accessories get my hair ready for any occasion. Besides, they are a great solution for bad hair days.

10- High-quality swimwear

Last but not least. Wearing a swimsuit that makes you feel comfortable and confident. Don't forget to add a cover-up. I love a caftan style, a sun hat, a nice bag, and beach sandals.

Remember that this is a list of my Summer essentials. I suggest you make your own list considering your personal style and lifestyle.
