Monochromatic outfits with Not A Ligne clothes

Jenny Lai, the Creative Designer and founder of Not a Ligne, a sustainable brand from New York, read my post about monochromatic color combinations and she asked me to come up with monochromatic outfits using clothes from her collection.

How amazing is that?

I was delighted by the idea and accepted the challenge!

That's why I thought about creating different looks with the same pieces.

For the first board, I considered Winter, and then the transition for Spring/Summer.

I strongly believe that we should always try to wear our clothes all year round whenever it's possible. Doing so can stimulate our creativity while we have fun getting dressed. As a result, I decided to go for white and ecru clothes since these colors look beautiful and unexpected in the Winter. After all, we don't need to wait for the Summer to wear white, right?

This specific shirt can be worn with long or short sleeves, leaving part of its sleeves hanging. I have had a similar one in a rusty color for years and I absolutely love it.

My second choice was pink & burgundy because technically they are both red, so it's also a monochromatic combination. I chose it because Valentine's Day is coming.

Even if this special date won't be like the previous years, you can still dress up for an indoor dinner. In addition, you can also wear the same clothes, by just styling them in a more casual or formal way - it's up to you!
