Let's do a Winter wardrobe cleaning

Although doing a wardrobe Spring cleaning is necessary, and I will come back talking about this later on, in the past years, I have thought that Winter is the best time for a wardrobe cleaning or edition - you can choose the name you prefer.

We stay at home for more time; we have more time to think about it. When the weather gets nicer, we want to be outside, so it is better to start doing our job in advance.

What I feel it could be done now:

  • Try on everything we haven't been wearing for a while. Ask yourself: Do I still love it?

  • Keep asking yourself: How could I wear it now? How can I wear it when Spring arrives? What about in the Summer? Try mixing these pieces with others that you wear all the time. For example, a jacket that you haven't worn for years with your favorite jeans.

  • Find the pieces that need alterations: How about changing the buttons of that Spring coat? It will look completely different!

  • Create different outfits with your existing clothes, and don't forget to take photos.

  • Take a look at your bags: We spent so much time mainly working from home. Think about what you need now. Maybe you could donate or sell some of them. At least try to wear them in the next few months. And then ask yourself, did it work?
