It's time to shine! Learn how to wear metallics, sequins, and lurex

Did you notice that shiny clothing is trendy now? Like the roaring 20s, when everybody was ready to party after the war, our generation deals with the post-pandemic effect. It's time to get together and celebrate life!

If you love sparkling pieces, you might already have some options in your wardrobe. Now, you don't need to wait for a wedding to wear your sequined skirt. Add a T-shirt, and you're ready to go out and meet your friends.

A while ago, I wrote about Spring 2023 trends to apply this holiday season. Here are five tips to make your outfits look more glamorous:

1 - Dazzling and effortlessly chic!

Do you own classic clothes, such as a shirt, a midi skirt, or a jacket? Then you're good to go! I have shirts with lurex or sequins in my wardrobe that I have kept for a long time. So I plan to wear them with plain and basic pieces these holidays. For example, I can match them with my favorite jeans or a simple skirt.

2 - Less is more!

My advice is to pick only one shiny item. Your outfit will look more attractive and elegant.
3 - What do you prefer: silver, gold, or bronze?

When you wear something next to your face (a shirt or a jacket), go for a color that complements your natural beauty.

4 - Be smart when choosing jewelry.

If possible, avoid shiny accessories. Additionally, you don't need to wear the same metallic shade. Have fun and mix metals - style a silver skirt, a blue sweater, and gold earrings.

5 - You can wear metallics during the day.

It's all about balance. Match small pieces, such as boots or a lurex top, with a blazer.

Do you have any shiny clothes at home? Are you planning to wear any of them on New Year's Eve?
