Is it OK to wear a black dress in the Summer?

I know that you might have this question: Is it OK to wear a black dress in the Summer? I have already written about this subject, but now I come with an update for you to keep wearing your favorite dress this season.

Check out this dress below made of a linen blend. It's perfect for hot weather. It's flowy with a charming V-neck. This piece also has a slit, which is a very current detail. Finally, it has sculptural short sleeves that look great if you want to balance your hip area. As you know, I prefer to talk about silhouettes and your image goals instead of body types and rules about what you should or shouldn't wear.

I created four outfits with this same black dress based on different occasions. I suggest you do the same with yours.:

1. CASUAL BRUNCH

I replaced the existing belt with a scarf and added colorful earrings. These shoes and this bag are very summery, so the black dress gets the same vibe.

2. HAPPY HOUR WITH FRIENDS

Here I chose accessories that aren't black, including camel platform heels and colorful jewelry. It's all about having fun!

3. MEETING WITH A CLIENT

Keep it simple. Pick lighter accessories such as comfortable blocked heels sandals, a bag that fits your laptop, and a gorgeous belt - the one below is from BeltBe (and they offer a discount for all my clients. Just use the code MARCIAVIP during checkout).

4. A WEDDING

Elevate your outfit with the right accessories. Gold is the perfect match for black in the summer. Your bag doesn't need to match your sandals, so I opted for a black clutch. This trio of black, gold, and pearls will do wonders. Très chic!
