How to make the most use of your clothes and accessories

We should always wear our clothes and jewelry on different occasions to get their most use. Unless it's formal attire, such as a party gown, we can probably style whatever is in our closets many times.

Let me show you a few examples:

  • A pearl necklace is traditional and classic. However, you can still use it to create an interesting and modern outfit. Start with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Then, add a chain and your pearl necklace. Voilá! Ready to look current and stylish?

  • You can wear the same dress to attend a wedding or a friend's casual party. Just choose the right shoes and bag. Finally, the way you style your hair and the makeup you put on also influence the level of formality.

  • Do you have a jewelry set that you got as an anniversary gift, such as a matchy necklace and a pair of earrings? If you feel you're overdressed every time you try them on, wear them separately. When paired together, these accessories tend to look more classical.

  • Do you own an embroidered shawl or a special scarf such as Hermés? This kind of accessory makes any outfit special, meaning you'll be unique.

  • Are you traveling to escape this cold season? A beach getaway is much needed, right? Style your one-piece swimwear as a shirt with linen pants. Complete the outfit with some fun jewelry.
