How to make a black outfit interesting

You might say that an all-black outfit is safe and boring.

But there is one simple way to make it more interesting. Try wearing different textures in the same look.

For instance, pair leather with wool, an opaque fabric dress with patent leather shoes, or a satin dress with suede boots.

Got it?

Even though there are many types of black, don't worry if they don't necessarily match.

It all depends on the fabric.

Wool looks darker than satin. Because satin reflects the light, it looks brighter.

The same tip applies to bags.

They don't need to have the same material, but they need to coordinate.

For example, matching black suede shoes with a beaded clutch in the same color is fine.

However, some combinations don't work for Winter. In this case, wearing a black bag made of raffia, a typical summer material, is a big no.

By the way, don't forget that monochromatic outfits send a message of elegance and elongate your figure.

And it happens with all colors, not only black.

So, based on what you desire or how you want to feel, you can have a go at this effortlessly chic formula. For more ideas, take a look at another post below.
