How to look chic wearing shorts during Summer
Months ago I wrote a post about how to wear bermudas or longer shorts. It was a bit colder back then so now I’m back with some suggestions for sunny and warm days!
We have seen these items quite a lot in the past seasons, haven’t we? First in some collections, then worn by some fashionistas.
However, I always hear some women complaining that bermuda shorts are difficult to style, specially for those that aren’t so tall, like me.
But you know how the saying goes: when there’s a will, there’s a way! I really think that if you want to try this kind of shorts you should GO FOR IT!
Just make sure to choose a length that works better for you or that makes you feel more confident.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: just like any skirt, one inch can make a big difference here!
A TIP ON HOW TO LOOK TALLER WEARING BERMUDA SHORTS
As I mentioned in a previous post, proportions here are key! So pay close attention not only to the shorts themselves, but also the shirt and the shoes you’re going to pair with. Again, this makes all the difference, too!
Keep in mind that if you want to look taller, pick a shorter length. There are plenty of options in the stores now.
Plus, choose shoes or sandals with a lower vamp.
And don’t forget: colors that resemble your skin tone can also help. The whole outfit in a similar color helps to elongate our figures, too.
HOW TO STYLE BERMUDA SHORTS IN SUMMER OR FALL
The good news is that longer pair of shorts, denim or tailored ones can be styled in different ways. Are you heading to the beach? Put on a T-shirt and flats!

To be honest, I don’t miss Fall at all. Well, at least not yet.
But it’s good to know that we can wear a piece of clothing for more than one season, right?
