How to inform guests about a destination wedding attire

In the past year, I have attended two destination weddings, and two more are scheduled for 2025, with one more yet to be confirmed.

Post-pandemic, people travel and plan their weddings more than ever, and combining the two is simply delightful.

A common question that guests ask is how to dress for a destination wedding.

Will I be able to wear heels? Is there air conditioning? Is a short dress appropriate? Does my partner need to wear a tie or a jacket?

While the expected attire can be included on the invitation, classic descriptions often fail to capture the unique vibe the couple envisions for their big day.

Recently, I helped a client with this by creating a detailed PDF guide with outfit options for both women and men. This guide considered the city, venue, time of day, and the overall style of the ceremony and reception. This way, guests from various countries can confidently choose their outfits, ensuring they look and feel their best.
