How to get dressed to work in the Summer
I know that Summer looks wonderful when we are on vacation relaxing by the sea. But it's not so easy when we must get dressed, commute to work, or even have lunch with clients.
How do we stay put together when the temperature is in the 80s?
Here are five tips to help you look stylish and smart this season:
1. I think wearing dresses in the Summer is much easier. Choose loose-fitting skirts.
2. The fabric you choose is vital. Pick cotton, linen, or a mix of both with viscose. But avoid polyester shirts.
3. Match your outfits with comfortable sandals that are appropriate for your office dress code.
4. Are you having a bad hair day? I know how hard it is to deal with frizz on humid days. So try to wear a hair band to pull your hair up or wear a head scarf to control it.
5. It can be tricky to wear a third piece unless you are in a place with the AC on all day. In that case, there are light blazers made of linen or cotton. If they don't work for you, accessorize your outfit with jewelry.
