How to create outfits that enhance your gray hair

Recently, many women stopped dying their hair. This movement is happening because they no longer feel pressure to follow the rules, such as the idea that a silver-haired woman doesn't take care of herself. Or even worse, that only men look good with gray hair. Besides, the pandemic grew the desire for freedom and power to decide what we want to do or how we want to look.

This photo is from my client. She has just decided to embrace her natural hair. When I did her color analysis, I had to explain that she will notice changes in how her clothes will look on her. Although her color palette (the best colors for her complexion) won't alter, her contrast will.

She used to have a dark color in contrast with her light skin, which means some color combinations flattered her. The more gray hair she gets, the lower her contrast will be. Therefore, some high contrast combinations such as black and white (very dark and very light) won't look the same on her. Maybe they will look a bit heavy. So combinations with less contrast, such as medium blue and white, will enhance her natural beauty.

But the good news is there are many ways to create more contrast on her face. For example, if she wears eyeglasses with a dark frame. Putting on a darker lipstick also does the job.

My point is I am here to support your decision. I will advise you on how to look even more beautiful if you go gray. The more knowledge you have, the easier it is to make your own decisions.
