How to add a pop of color to your Winter outfits
Last week, I was invited to deliver a talk to a group of women at a birthday celebration. The topic was about how to wear color in the Winter.
Most people tend to wear black in the winter, especially in a place like New York.
Since our winter is so long, why not add a pop of color to cheer up our cold days?
That's why I will show with you three tips I shared with them:
1- MATCH YOUR EYE COLOR
It's always a great idea to repeat the color of your eyes in an accessory next to your face, such as a scarf. Fun fact: did you know that many times we have more than one color in our eyes?
You can always elevate your jeans + blazer outfit with an interesting belt. A scarf in a color that looks good for your complexion will make all the difference. Belt by Beltbe, get a discount using the code MARCIAVIP
2- COLOR COMBINATION CAN BE FUN
Try to play with different colors. For instance, when wearing a blue dress, complete the look with a pair of green earrings. Blue and green are neighbors in the color wheel or the rainbow, and they share similar pigments.

3- WEARING COLORS THAT AREN'T IN YOUR PALETTE
Do you like any colors that wash you out? It's okay. All you need to do is try it in an accessory that isn't close to your face. For example, I don't look good in fuchsia. However, there is a way out. I can wear a camel or brown top (these are good for my complexion) and then add a fuchsia belt. It's still part of my outfit but it doesn't make my skin look gray or fatigued.

Voilà! These styling hacks will make sure you look flattering and happy throughout this chilly and drab season.
