Group Color Analysis at a Baby Shower

This weekend, I had the pleasure of participating in a baby shower by offering color analyses to the guests. The hostess wanted to provide a unique and memorable experience, and it was a huge success! The beautiful weather allowed me to do the color tests outdoors under perfect natural lighting.

Once each guest discovered the best colors for their complexion, I gave them a pashmina in their ideal shades. The hostess thoughtfully selected a range of pashminas in various color palettes—warm and cool, soft and intense, light and deep—ensuring there was something for everyone.

If you’re planning an event, whether it’s a birthday party, family reunion, or bachelorette party, and you’d like to offer a group color analysis as a fun experience for your guests, here’s a helpful tip:

Color analysis works best with a manageable group size.

Be sure to discuss with the consultant how many guests can be analyzed within the event’s timeframe. I’ve had to decline events where the guest list was too extensive to allow for proper individual attention.

Other than that, it’s a fun activity that leaves a lasting impact! Guests leave with valuable information to help them shop smarter and create a more curated wardrobe. As a follow-up, I sent each guest a digital recap of their color palette and a catalog featuring 200+ makeup, clothing, and accessory options to enhance their natural beauty.
