Brooches: traditional or trendsetting?

In my previous blog posts, I've shared my love for accessories as they allow us to showcase our unique personalities through fashion.

Among these accessories, brooches hold a special place in my heart. They're not always easy to come by, often requiring a visit to a thrift store, as mainstream accessory brands don't typically feature them. This lack of visibility has led many to overlook brooches, associating them only with traditional or outdated styles.

However, my recent visit to Atelier Jolie in NYC, the store/atelier founded by Angelina Jolie, situated in the same iconic space once occupied by Andy Warhol and later by Jean-Michel Basquiat, offered a refreshing perspective. I found this stunning and creatively designed blazer there that sparked my imagination. It inspired me to rethink how I could incorporate brooches into my outfits.
