Are brooches making a comeback?

Brooches are not really a trend now, but I have noticed some signs that they can make a comeback soon.

A good example can be found on Netflix's new comedy-drama Emily in Paris. A character called Sylvie wore a vintage Dior brooch with different clothes and on various occasions.

That's the beauty of having a special piece that makes our outfit unique!

Brooches don't always need to be worn the traditional way. You can also wear them on your cuffs, a turtleneck (see pictures below), or even on a belt.

As a matter of fact, I have one that I asked my friend, who is a jewelry designer, to make for me. The idea was to attach it to a straw clutch. It was such a great idea that, in the end, it actually became a one-of-a-kind piece.

Now, take a look at the Bottega Veneta brooch in the photo. It's brand new and from the current season. Amazing, isn't it?

If you love the idea of wearing a brooch but don't plan on spending a lot of money on one, you can take a look at secondhand stores or small designer shops like Etsy. I will keep you posted if I see any interesting pieces!

Do you have any brooches? Where did you get them? If not, will you buy one if it becomes trendy? I’d love to know!
