Most women aim to have a curated wardrobe that serves their routine and style. Consequently, I have been talking more about wearing layers. That's because it works in the colder months, and it's one more way to maximize what we have in our closets.

So let's revive a piece you might have in your closet from previous years: the sweater vest. Just like a cardigan, you might think it needs to be updated, or even worse, it will make you look old. However, this item can look stylish. It just depends on how you wear it. See the pictures below:

You can also try light puffer vests. They are great for layering underneath wool coats. This mix-and-match of textures helps to create fascinating looks.
