Welcome to Day 2 of your Closet Spring Cleaning Challenge!
Today, we're moving our focus to our bags. Let's start!
Everyday Bags Inspection
Start by taking a careful look at your everyday bags. Why do you love them? How do they serve you?
Check if they're still in good condition.
Consider Cobbler Care
Just like shoes, bags can also benefit from some care at the cobbler. Consider getting it fixed if you have a favorite bag with discoloration or hardware issues.
Say bye to the Worn-Out If you have stained, peeling bags or ones that are in generally poor shape, it might be time to say goodbye.
If You Don't See, You Don't Wear Take a look at the bags you don't wear often but are still in good condition. Is it because they're tucked away and out of sight? Remember, what you don't see, you don't wear! Consider rotating them on your shelves.
Rediscover Loved but Neglected Bags: Do you have bags you adore but never seem to use? This week, try creating an outfit around them. It will be easier to wear clothes you feel good in and add your forgotten bag.
Then, keep the bag visible as a reminder.
Heavy or Uncomfortable Bags If you have bags that are too heavy, too small, or uncomfortable to carry, take a moment to reflect on this purchase and then consider selling or donating them—it's a valuable lesson learned.
How did your bag assessment go? I'm sure you're already feeling positive about your closet space!
Looking forward to meeting you tomorrow for your next challenge!
